Hi, my name is Tristan

I’ve been carrying a camera for most of my life. It started as a hobby, encouraged by my parents and fueled by an old Nikon DSLR that followed me around as a kid.

During the COVID pandemic, I returned to photography with more intention—not just as a way to document the world, but as an art form. That’s when I began seriously developing my skills, paying closer attention to light, composition, and the way images can tell a story without words.

Much of my early portrait work came through self-portraiture and personal projects exploring gender identity, expression, and self-image. Learning to work on both sides of the camera taught me how vulnerable being photographed can feel, especially as a queer person. That perspective is something I carry into every session. I want people to feel comfortable, respected, and most importantly, like themselves in front of my camera.

Today, when I’m not wrenching on classic cars, I’m photographing anything that catches my attention—cars, portraits, nature, architecture. I adapt my approach to the subject, location, and moment, focusing on creating images that feel natural, intentional, and worth coming back to.
